A poor world
Marco Mandrino

It is important to distinguish between the two levels: on a deeper level, the world we live in is our own creation; this, however, should not diminish our ability to stick our heads out and observe the outermost shell, that is, the world of space/time in which we live today.
The world, let's call it the external one, is a poor world, and this poverty has nothing to do with quantity but only and exclusively with quality. This extreme poverty can be observed in every context. Today, though, I want to focus on the reactions to a post I wrote and published on this page on Sunday 11 February, entitled “Difendo Ferragni”.
Some people read it and understood it, and it matters little whether they agree more or less with the content.
Many reactions to the post in question, however, come from people who did not get beyond the title and the photo.
Others are functionally illiterate and, even if they have read a few words of the content, are unable to understand it.
The majority of the reactions come from the poor in spirit, who harbour such great resentment and such a strong sense of envy that the only thing they can hope for, to get even a minimum of satisfaction, is other people's misfortune. They do not understand that, even if CF ended up in prison without a penny, their lives would be just as miserable as they are today, because they live in a poor inner world with neither light nor hope. In the end, they live in the same nightmare as their beloved CF.
