The undead are envious
Marco Mandrino

Exactly as in every film about zombies, the non-dead who now roam the streets of our cities are unable to imagine taking responsibility for their own lives. And if they feel they don't have enough, instead of doing everything they can to earn it, they simply let themselves be guided by envy.
The non-dead are in fact driven by envy alone, which pushes them to want to devour other people's good fortune.
So it happens that a super rich man decides to spend millions of euros on getting married in Venice, essentially hiring half the city. The non-dead go wild: they would like to make him pay more tax, and they do everything they can (out of pure envy) to try to ruin his party.
I don't particularly like the man in question. That said, he is rich because he was a genius, and if he has money he is quite right to spend it on what he enjoys. Why on earth should he give it to the non-dead as charity, when they wouldn't be happy anyway?
I wonder why we waste time and energy being “against”. If the non-dead spent the time they devote to being “against” on becoming human again and on creating a life worth living, they would be doing a favour to themselves and to everyone around them.
