Intentions: promoting Beauty

Marco Mandrino

As far as I am concerned, Beauty is not subjective. What we like is not necessarily beautiful, and the mere representation of one's own mental ruminations is not to be considered art. We are living in a society that has lost the sense of beauty in favour of utilitarianism. Value is given to what is useful, what brings profit and advantage, and not to what is Beautiful in itself.

That being said, our idea is instead to promote Beauty. With the season just around the corner, we are making small investments that have no use other than to enhance the look of the place. We are lucky enough to live in a place that I consider magical. We have some of the most beautiful skies I have ever seen, and I never tire of contemplating them. The play of light at dusk at Bellaria is a priceless gift. What we need to do is create situations in which this natural beauty is enhanced and can be enjoyed, and that is what we are doing, changing small but significant details compared with last year, which I hope you will appreciate.
