The puppet show of shadows in the age of Nothingness
Marco Mandrino

It seems that for the citizens of the Empire today, what matters is shedding light on New Year's Eve gunshots, on outstretched arms at a commemoration of the victims of red terrorism, or passing judgement on the dealings of the contemporary digital Wanna Marchi (well, well, what a shock to discover that she couldn't have cared less about charity!!).
It is clear that today communism and fascism are merely shadows, waved about to distract a dazed population incapable of thinking, so that no one sees the real problems. If authoritarian regimes, whatever their colour, relied on terror and repression, today democracy has an easy time obtaining the same servility through manipulation and the sublimation of trash. People argue about nothing, split over nothing and take part in sham battles fought by shadows and non-existent ghosts, while the empire of nothingness strips them of their souls.
