"Men" in the Age of the Empire of Nothingness

The perfect male subject of the Empire has a good number of the following traits:
de-virilised, speaks in neutral, politically correct language, says he loves cuddles, wishes you “a good life”, believes in “science”, wears a vacant smile that is always a little “forced”, has no pride whatsoever, loves all things green but can't live without his comforts, loves technology because it lets him have what he believes to be relationships without ever exposing himself, replaceable and biodegradable, loves physical activities that don't make him sweat, emotionally dead, doesn't get angry but is prone to hysteria, has lots of “friends” but is deeply alone, says he is in solidarity with “others” but is incapable of looking beyond himself, calls himself free but ends up unconsciously following the rules of the Empire, believes he has personal opinions but does nothing but repeat the Empire's slogans.
