The true anti-establishment rebel (Punk) today is simply a kind person🌱
Marco Mandrino

Picking up from last week's post: if the meaning of Punk's existence from a cultural point of view was breaking the mould, going against convention, being in some way a revolutionary avant-garde, then today what probably comes closest to that spirit is kindness towards others
✨
Not a kindness of convention or one tied to a role that presupposes it (any job in contact with the public), not a kindness aimed at getting something from someone, but a simple and natural kindness
✨
The kindness I am talking about has no direction and no motive, but if cultivated it becomes part of the person who expresses it, even simply in not trampling a flower, in spontaneously picking up something in the street without making an activity of it, in holding a door open to let someone through, in greeting neighbours when we meet them with a good wish and a smile.
Simple things, but increasingly rare, that would make life brighter for everyone, especially for those who do them.
