San Lorenzo

Marco Mandrino

The night of San Lorenzo is evocative. I have been lucky enough to spend a great deal of time on a meadow, gazing upwards in search of shooting stars.

As a child it was a game, but also an excuse to stay up late and spend more time with the grown-ups.

As a teenager, and throughout my youth, it was a romantic excuse to spend a night out with a girl I longed for.

For some years now it has been a stimulus to imagine a soundtrack that could accompany the contemplation of the sky, and a wonderful chance to see Cascina Bellaria with the lights off, the stage for all this splendour, with people divided into small groups enjoying each other's company while scanning the sky.

As usual, we await all our friends on Monday 10 August for an evening where the only event is the sky.
